Hi Guys!!! I am finally back. I have been so busy these last couple of weeks with traveling and work. I can’t wait to share with you the highlights of my New York trip. Stay tuned. However today I want to concentrate on my favorite piece of clothing to wear, which are dresses!!! We can never have too many dresses in our closet, especially when they’re a piece that can easily transition from casual to chic in a matter of seconds with just a simple change of shoes. In my book, the boyfriend shirt-dress holds the title for being the perfect item to wear for this spring. What is a boyfriend shirt-dress? Basically, it’s a longer version of a shirt, usually button-down, and slightly oversized; which looks like a shirt but acts like a dress.

It is important to note that it’s the choice of shoe, which sets the tone of the outfit. If you want to go with a more casual look style the dress with a pair of sneakers or flats. In the event that you are looking for a more dressed up vibe, simply wear a pair of heels to take the outfit up a notch. Another way to wear the boyfriend shirt-dress is to wear a belt, kinged at the waist or, you can go the route I did and leave it un-belted for a more sophisticated effortless vibe of the whole look.
