Happy Saturday!! Love, love, loving this beautiful weather in South Florida, this is the perfect temperature for me; it is cold enough to layer and throw on a cute blazer. It is definitely a nice change from the heat Miami brings.
One of my favorite looks to rock this season is the jean short and blazer look. Right now I can’t get enough of this combo. I like to call it the “Cali” look since they always have perfect weather. The best part is you can dress it up or down. This can even be an airport look with some cool loafers, add a scarf and off you go. What I love about this combo is that it is the perfect example of when sophisticated and edge meet and have a baby- this is the end result would be this = sophisticated-edge. This look can be appropriate for everything from brunch with the girls to causal date night with your babe.
Today I went for a classic pairing with jean shorts from Zara, a simple white v- neck, luxury watch and sunglasses. I wanted to add more fun to this outfit, therefore I added this fun belt bag and these platform sneakers that I am low-key obsessed with from Zara. Can you tell what my favorite store is ? lol. This blazer is from a vintage shop a few years back. I am a firm believer that a great quality piece, never goes out of style.
Some tips for this combo?
1. Choose a fitted top or a basic tee.
2. Shoes? For a casual day: opt for simple loafers or sneakers. For a more dressed up approach: style your outfit with fun heels.
3. Finally… don’t underestimate the power of good accessories: fun sunglasses, a stunning watch, a pair of statement earrings and or an elegant bag are very important items to complete and achieve the perfect outfit.
